I wanted to thank Tom at Chestnut Ridge for getting me the knife, Tom is a great guy to deal with. As for the blade, I will repeat what everyone else says, absolutely great knife, I love this thing and can't wait to take it out and do some testing against some of my other similar length blades. Speaking of which, here are some pics, enjoy

Good score bro. How do you like that Afgan? I was all hot to buy one of those for a while and for some reason still haven't jumped on one.

thanks guys, I agree with you tony, the weight on this blade really impresses me. It is a real tank, next up is a leather carry rig for her and I will be good to go. Dy- the Afghan is awesome as well, again built like a tank and for the money an excellent buy. Both of them are a great bang for the buck . I also have to say the coating is really nice, they both seem to have similar coatings and it is tough. Holds up much better than the old black crinkle coat, really A+ on that

Love the RC 5 pics. Great looking blade. Congrats on getting yours

God I can't take it anymore! lol, I'm gonna have to quit hangin around the RC forums man.. Can't take all the RC5 threads and pictures knowing I can't have one for a long while. Food and a roof must come first in these times :(

Nice, I see that's your size and style of choice.

What do you think of the RC compared to those other models, first impressions.?

Thanks SB, I'm glad to see you got them.

first impression is it fits my hands great, I have large hands. I would say it was right up there with the Fehrman as my top camp knife and will get equal time on my belt. Now I just need a 1/4 inch thick version of the RTAK :D
