Let's limit it to the next 5 knives you'll most probably be purchasing. Here goes:

Benchmade Axis lock
Busse Battle Mistress
Spyderco Starmate
Spyderco Military
Emerson Commander

As you can tell, the knife bug has bitten, but the fixed blade bug hasn't quite gotten here yet. To put this in perspective, my only recent purchases have been the BM Pinnacle and the LM Wave.

A knife is by default a tool, it's only a weapon when a human chooses to make it so.

There are a bunch of knives I'd like (big surprise)

Sebenza, just to see what all the fuss is about.

Elishewitz Bolster Lock Diablo, nice knife, too bad not offered in left-handed.

Gene Osborn Scale Release (actually I think I'll be ordering one soon

)

Pat Crawford Wortac, I like that handle shape.

Hopefully over time, (like the next five years) I'll be able to collect these very nice peice one at a time. In the mean time, I use production knives as a "quick fix" for my cravings.

  1. William Henry Carbon Fibre Kestrel & Spearpoint (I like both. Probably get the Kestrel 1st as its cheaper)
  2. Elishewitz Diablo
  3. BM 730
  4. Emerson Commander
  5. Damascus Small Decorated Sebenza (OR Wood Inlay) or Speedtech Synergy (Not to sure if this is too roundy or not, I'll have to hold one to know)[/list=a]

I'm saving for the Blade Show where I should be purchasing any of the above, and anything else that catches my eye. I wont be buying any until then so I can save even more.

Next 5 knives hmmmmm? Well here it goes: Busse Battle Mistress, Strider MT seeing as I already ordered my MH, BM Nimravus Cub, Mission MPK in titanium, and a KaBar all black with a kydex sheath. I broke my last one in the PI cutting bamboo. It snapped right in half! I couldn't believe it. Well that's the list unless I see anything new come along.

5 realistic knife purchases?

1. Spyderco Military plain edge (already got the serrated)
2. BM 730
3. Sebenza (eventually)
4. Busse Steel Heart
5. WWIII khukri, when they finish making them

My sheep has seven gall-bladders, that makes me King of the Universe!

1. BM 730 Ares (Plain edge)
2. BM 140 Nimravus M2 (Plain edge)
3. Columbia River Stiff K.I.S.S. ('cause I'm going hiking, and it can be turned into a spear in a pinch, and is cheap enough to do so).
4. A piece of Talonite and some time with a grinder, since I have a knife I want to make.

Well it's optional for me now
I just need more cash and such.

Busse Basic #3
or something
Livesay Little Pecker
CRKT Small Kasper
Mad Dog Mongoose
Spyderco Mini Military (if if comes out)
Bladewiz' D2 FB

Tough question even though some are on the way!

1) Large wood inlayed Sebenza with bronzed raindrop damascus and dual thumbstuds
2) Keith Coleman Banshee with 3" BG-42 blade, mokume bolsters, desert ironwood scales, gold anodized titanium liners and clip (will have to fight it out with my plain Sebenza for daily carry
wink.gif
!)
3) Blackjack stag handled Trailguide
4) Marble's Expert II in leather
5) Randall 6" Model 5 with stag handle and nickel silver fittings

Managed to divide the folders and the fixed blades pretty well don't you think

!

It's only a mistake if you fail to learn from it!

Hmmm . . .

Running Dog "Little Pup"
Greco, possibly the "Companion"
Benchmade 730
HI Khukuri
a medium-size fixed blade, not sure which maker I will pick yet

My list is:
1. Sebenza (large or small) I've got to spend time with one to see if its all that.
2. Kershaw Boa (speed safe)
3. Spyderco Lum
4. Spyderco 440v zytel Native
5. Spyderco large Dyad

Well... I just bought a William Henry Fishtail Oak Kestrel and I've got a Ray Kirk (Raker) damascus tanto on order, and it's getting closer to spring so paintball is competing with spare cash, so I'm going to cut down. Realistically, all I can see myself getting in the reasonably near future is a Spyderco Bob Lum (assuming they ever ship in decent numbers).

My list would be:
1) large decoraged classic 2000 Sebenza with Devin Thomas blue raindrop damascus blade (on order)
2) Emerson Mach-1
3) Emerson CQC7 with wave feature
4) Emerson custom Shadow (on order)
5) small classic 2000 Sebenza with the Solar Wind design, and polished blade and dual thumbstuds (on order)
And that is it for now. Can't think of any others that I desperately want. By the way, to those who listed the Diablo as one of their choices, Knifeart, the last time I check only has one more left, #25, if it's still available. I talked with Larry and he says he and Allen Elishewitz won't probably produce anymore. So 25 Diablos is it. Here's Diablo #21 to for you guys to drool over:

Gosh darn it! I remembered 2 more knives I want. A Speedtech Synergy, and a Rob Simonich custom talonite Cetan. I know that's 7 total, but just had to mention those ones in particular to my wish list.

No mas Diablos?

Since I had to chime in, what I hope to recieve next, in their expected order:

Wood Inlay Sebenza
Classic Sebenza #20
Elishewitz Cortex w/ Bolster Lock
Lynn Griffith Hunter w/ Box Elder handle scales
Simonich Talonite Carnivore

But I might buy some others while waiting for most of those arrive
