Not much,but its a start.

Nice group there Todd! the 44OT Workmate is one of the most sought after models today, yours is one of the first issues from between 1990 & 1993, the second issue with blade etching was intoduced in 2001 as a "special edition".

Funny you should mention the 6OT,I just "won" one and a 3OT on friday.

My first Schrade was a sc205 in the mid 80's.A gift from family.

My first Schrade was an LB7. I lost it years ago, but still have the one I got to replace it via my "Guarantee against loss". Love those knives!

Late 70's. I bought an Old Timer to use for Cable TV work. I don't remember for sure but I think it was a 34OT. Back then, a pattern number was not important to me. I lost (or misplaced) them so they had to be replaced every now and then.

....and let me guess Lrv you carved a heart and your initials with it in the old oak tree on the corner of First and Elm ...you sentimental you.....?? How's my yankee talk goin ya'll.....Hoo Roo..

My first was a staglon LB8 and still using it....

Larry,
Not bad.. cept if I had carved our initials in the old oak tree Tony Orlando would have sued me till Dawn..
:D

My first one was a 8OT back in the early 80's. I left it on the bumper of a 75 Monte Carlo and drove around for a couple of weeks with it wedged in there before I found it again.

Purchased mine at the feed mill I was working at while in college, A&M Feed, Stillwater Oklahoma USA!!! GO POKES:p back to the knife a 77OT 1986 she is now a safe queen for the most part, I EDC until fall of "07, real pocket worn delrin scales, almost completly smooth, master blade a little lazy (ok maybe alot) but still pretty full blades. If only I knew the fate of the beloved ISC:grumpy: I would have more, I do have several more that I purchased at cost +10%:D although they are all users (well cared for), CAUSE THATS WHAT KNIVES WERE MADE FOR at least thats all I knew back then OH WELL live and learn.;)

One more arrived today,a Schrade NY 108ot that was a package deal with the NY 34ot (shipping error, I got a 89ot with it ). A little oil and a rag and it will be ready to use.

Error in your favor! Sometimes those tang stamps are hard to read, or did they have a 34OT in the listing?

The NY 34OT(pictured top of thread) and the 108OT were listed together.

She packed up the 34ot with a 89ot instead of my 108ot.Sent the 89ot back and she sent me my 108ot.

Thought it was the right thing to do....after all the 89ot was listed in an ongoing auction with 22 hrs left when it showed up at my house.:)

Luckily no bids so she pulled it when I e-mailed her.

I only have seven wins, and this was my second miss-ship

They both worked out.

My 1st Schrade my dad gave me,he had it in his fishing basket. It was a G. Schrade Presto P.B with jigged bone handles,it worked great,i still have it. He gave it to me nearly 40 years ago. It is my most prized Schrade.

Todd, a very nice start. looks like you too have the Schrade bug. i started collecting Schrades a little over 1 year ago and this forum is a huge part of Schrade collecting for me; good on-line friends and loads of helpful information.
just when i think i have a pretty good idea of the range of knives Schrade produced, i discover a whole new series i didn't know about. i have well over 100 Schrade knives now, 99.9% ebay, about 50% are used, but all are still in perfect working condition. Schrade knives were really well put together.
i can't say the same for my older Bucks or numerous other brands.
and then there's all sorts of wonderful old Schrade Waldens and Schrade Cut. Co.s.
so i see no end to the Schrade bug, there's just too many fine knives to discover. my first was either a 34OT (which i lost in my garden about 7 years ago; still keep looking for it !), or a 152OT (which still accompanies me hunting), both purchased about 1980. roland
