Life has been crazy for me the last year and I haven't had much time to post. But I still found time to hunt for old pocket knives online. I finally took some pictures for my friends here in the KABAR forum.
Here is a neat pruning knife that is so sharp. I got this for $8 shipped because the blade is a little bent and someone scratched up the blade some thinning the edge with a file. But I like it that way because I'm not afraid to really use it. At the end of the handle on one side the wood is thicker giving a great finger rest. I took the last picture trying to show it.
The others all have the same black plastic handles. They were not together, I found them all separately. The bottom two are my favorites and I am using and carrying them almost every day.
This blade has a cool swedge on it.
I have had this one for about 9 months and it has become my favorite traditional pocket knife. I carry this and a larger knife every day. This Kabar is so useful, gets very sharp and just look at that patina. Wow!
Do you see the patina on these springs in the picture below?
