My Blade Forums REKAT "grooveless" Sifu arrived today. It's number 12 in the stonewash edition.
After hearing conflicting stories about how similar locking BM Axis knives were being seized (due to it being classified as a gravity knife) had me worried for awhile.
I was relieved that it cleared Canada Customs (Note: I mail-ordered a BM 710 Axis last year and it also cleared customs without problems.)
An enclosed note that Mike Turber attached, at my request, may have helped. A copy of it can be found at: http://www.physics.mun.ca/~sstamp/knives/canada.html
In addition it helps to clearly explain to customs what the knife is: locking, sport/collectible knife, operated by a thumb disk...
Hope this helps anyone north of the 49th parallel contemplating on getting a Sifu.
Also, make sure you check your local bylaws.
