This is a great looking knife out of the box. A big turn-off for me, and I'm sure others, is that the detent is visible on the blade. So you see that terrible arcing scratch. When I got mine I expected the smoothest flipper I had ever handled. Not even close. My ZT 0560BW is head and shoulders above this knife. The first 90 or 100 degrees of its motion was quite smooth. However, after that point, it was very gritty and tight. I literally mauled my flippin' finger trying to flip this thing open without any wrist action. If the full range of motion was as smooth as the first half, it would be an awesome knife. EXCEPT for the fact that the detent ball fell out after only several attempted flips. Maybe that helps explain why it was scratching the blade so badly. At any rate, it is headed back to HQ this very moment. Very unacceptable for a $400 knife. I'm considering replacing it with either a Strider SnG or a large Sebenza 21. Any suggestions?
