Default Sr1 neutral beam shots and review.
Wow, so much brighter than the s10rIII!
I have the neutral white s1r, and it's gotta be the brightest single 123 light I've ever had in my hand.
I love the neutral white.
The light is very easy to operate, a single press on the side switch brings up the last brightness, unless it was on turbo and then it comes on high which is 270 lumens.
To access moonlight mode you press and hold for 1 second while it is off.
To make it brighter you press and hold while the light is on. Low is 10 lumens, medium is 55 and high as I said is 270.
This light is also interesting because it has 2 turbo modes. The first you can access by a double press when the light is off. That is a blazing 550 lumens for 90 seconds.
From there you can double tap again to bring up what they call turbo S mode for 800 lumens for 90 seconds which is crazy for this size light.
A triple tap from off will bring up the strobe.
It comes with a super slim USB charger for mobile or home charging. The light magnetically sticks to the charger which is a cool feature of the Olight's.
It comes in a neat little bag, but I'm not sure what you'd use that for, seeing as the pocket clip on these is perfect and it just hangs out with you all day!
All in all my first impression of this light is just like any other olight product I have owned so far, it is well made, nice to look at and it does what it's supposed to do.
My only gripe would be with the double tap then double tap for turbo S mode, as if you try to do it too quick you'll turn on the strobe, but beyond that this light is brilliantly designed and can always be around when you need it.
Next to the s10rIII and it is just a fraction of an inch smaller both in length and in head diameter, but ever so much brighter!
