Great review Rolex, I like how you write it for people who aren't necessarily knife people, but can appreciate something very well crafted. Hope you enjoy your dragonfly.

Oh, and great pictures too ;)

Thanks for the kind words! Glad you enjoyed it!

Great review! And I really enjoyed your web site (amateur photographer here). Can't wait to watch your spidie addiction grow so we get more great reviews and photos.

I ordered one from KC. Have several other variants and one of my favorite knives. Had one of the original FRN in my pocket when I got married.

Can't say I had one in my tux pocket when I got remarried 5 years ago, but amusingly I had a Gerber Gator in my briefcase when I went downtown to the courthouse 14 years ago for the divorce prelim - I forgot it was there. I had to hide it in the bushes so I could it though the metal detectors. :D

Got my dragonfly 2 today. I am really impressed. Went from great to outstanding in my opinion. Mine has blade centered, no wobble when locked and I like the jimping and clip. I am going to order one to stash for later and take this one to work tomorrow. It is really cool how Sal asks and listens to us then builds it. I give this little guy an A+.

I agree - Sal's approach to quality and customer service really separate Spyderco from the rest.

I just received mine a few days ago and I feel exactly the same. Although mine is a little off-centered, it still opens fine and cuts like a laser. I love the wire clip and jimping.

My only gripe is the stiffness of the spring. For such a small knife, it can be tough to open because of the strength of the spring. It's loosened up a little bit after repeated openings/closings. I'm sure Spyderco designed it that way for increased lifespan and durability.

Love 'em too. I had to get the FRN and the G10 as well. Great little EDC. Perfect for when I want to carry a sub 3" blade.

That's something I've noticed too - I'd appreciate a little easier/speedier deployment of the blade.
