This is a Spyderco standard of excellence and has been reviewed countless times. My review may not contain anything that hasn't been said before but I still feel like sharing my perspective with it. Thanks for reading!

Yesterday I received a BNIB Spyderco Endura 4. Mine has a Saber Grind blade with a partially-serrated edge and a FRN handle in Foliage Green. At first sight I was taken back by the size It is larger than my Manix 2 by about half an inch. Opening the blade was smooth but slightly tight. The craftmanship of the blade looks to be very high, lots of strong lines and the finish is very shiny. The knife definitely has some heft to it, it seems to be a bit lighter than my Manix 2 in G10. The lock-up is solid but not quite as solid as the Manix 2. It features the standard size Spydie hole, standard pocket clip and FRN all of which work extremely well. If you don't mind the large blade I can recommend this as a good EDC knife. There is made of the standard Spyderco materials so if you get some use / wear&tear it's nothing to worry about. The blade shape and size is most definately got a real "can-do" attitude. There isn't a lot of bells and whistles here but you do get a reliable blade which when closed doesn't feel as big in the pocket as you might think. I forgot to mention the VG-10 steel. Some steel snobs may argue but I think for the money you're getting a helluva steel. High corrosion resistance, easy to sharpen up, and just a tad under S30V when it comes to edge retention. This is my third Spyderco in VG-10 and I have no complaints.

Previously I've carried on a daily basis:

Delica 4 FFG VG-10 CE
Delica 4 FFG VG-10 PE
Manix 2 FFG CTS-XHP

The Delica eventhough very capable feels wimpy after holding the Endura. The Manix 2 is shorter, heavier and is made of more premium materials/construction.
