I've been lurking here for several months, and through this site have learned a lot and spent probably too much time and money on knives. Today my first ever custom knife showed up, and so far I am more than happy with it.
Everything about this experience has been impressive. Josh Graham was very efficient in finding out exactly what I wanted, asking many questions I hadn't considered from the uses of various handle materials to which sheath would be most appropriate for me. The Razel arrived a bit earlier than anticipated, and I am already thinking about ordering another knife from the Graham brothers.
The knife itself has a great finish and fits quite well in my hand. The attention to detail, especially with the subtle mosaic pins is excellent - I used to make jewelry and am always looking at the small details. The ring is more than large enough for any finger and assists greatly in the control and drawing of the knife. The small belly of the SS3 was quite nice for cutting up some old carpet today, and the chisel end of it helped trim some molding that I had to even out after putting a window frame back together. I also cut up many cardboard boxes through the course of the day. The kydex sheath fits the knife well, and it seems really secure in there.
Anyway, I'm very happy with both my purchase and dealings with the Grahams, and recommend them and their knives to anyone.
