I'll do some measurements when I get back home for sure, they didn't have info on them at blade that I saw(think since they aren't in production and won't be for awhile).

It's the new SOB( Son of Badger). Yea I had been torn on which rmjs to get, love the shrike but wanted something more for the woods..then the Heavy Woods Hawk appeared ..still had to get a shrike too though.

I like that top hawk and the Shrike-13 is a classic, IMO. I have tried to destoy mine but no joy as yet. Visiting RMJ is always one of the highlights of my Blade show experience. Too bad I didn't make it this year.

Mines actually a full size Shrike. Sadly I dont have a scale but heres some pics with a tape measure and compared up against the full size shrike.

Its noticeably heavier than the shrike. Sorry I cant be of more help on the weight, total newb at this haha.

Np! It feels great in the hand wanting to take it on a hike/camp trip this weekend but no sheath available for it yet so may have to take the shrike

A Shrike is a Shrike, they are all good.

I do like that new piece, given how handy I have found the logger head to be I can see it being a good, useable camp axe. :thumbup:

Nice find on the RMJ woods hawk...I don't think those are a catalog item yet. Is it substantially heavier then the shrike and how is the scabbard. Nice score on the SOB by the way.

Aye that said it wouldn't be in production for awhile, think the kalihawk and another new proto that was at blade with a recurved handle we're coming first.
No scabbard yet, they said they would send one once they are designed.
