As we all know if not for all of our wonderful spouses this would not be as nearly as much fun. I have had to great pleasure of making a ton of friends in the knife community. I have also had the great pleasure to get to meet and know quite a few of your better 1/2's.

So now on to my story about my score. Saturday morning I was talking to Dave Lisch's wife while she was setting up their table. I had remembered at the Seattle show just a little over a month ago. She had made a few "Andrea" small kitchen knives. I was I little disappointed that I waited to long to get one of them in my hands.

Fast forward to Blade show Saturday morning. Andrea is doing the finishing touches on Dave's table and I ask her if she had brought any of her knives. Guess what she had five with her. I ask if I could see them and I now have the great pleasure of owning one. Actually it is now my wife's knife. I was allowed to test it out this evening on the prep for supper.

Thank you Andrea the knife is very comfortable to use and damn sharp.

Will be exciting to see a Damascus version ( hint hint )

Thanks Bing! I really am having fun making them. I started because we are mentoring a high school student who wants to be a knife maker, and I am working with him this year. I am so happy that your wife , and Eric’s is enjoying my work and I am totally looking forward to making some damascus this summer and creating some new paring knives. Thank you for your support, it inspires me to make more knives. xoxo Andrea

Nice Bing. Glad to see you are eating healthy and doing it in fine style.
Well done Andrea, Bing is not easily impressed.

Andrea, We all hope you make lots more. You are getting quite the following here. Excited to see what you come up with in Damascus

Thanks again so much

You and Dave are the best.

^ Ditto what Bing said... my wife has been using hers and really likes it. It's a great compliment to the other 2 main kitchen knives 'she' has... one from Haley and one from Jason. Here it is mounted on a magnetic knife holder I made for it... already getting a nice patina from use.
