CRK Brothers and Sisters,

I recently got bit by the Strider bug and purchased a Strider SnG PD#1 Lego Coyote. On most counts it was a sweet knife, but it was NOT a CRK. So, I posted it on the trade exchange and a very nice member who is a Strider nut traded me for a NIB Sebenza 25! Ahhh, the joy of perfection. . .

Here she is along with her friends: Clipless Small Sebenza 21, Small Sebenza 21 Insingo, and Small "P" Sebenza.

Wow they all look nice.

am I seeing things or does that 3rd one have no clip hole?

I think you made out great on the trade........ I'm bias though, love me so e 25!

i bit the bullet and decided to pull the trigger on a 25 yesterday, price was good, and i like a lot of things about the design. gonna see what i think about the new pivot. i love my other sebbies because they are so easy to maintain. everything made tight. no mucking about. so i will see if there's any up down in between on the new pivot design in terms of maintenance. i have 7 other CRK's so this will be number 8. crazy how the collection just seems to grow over the years. :)

Thanks for the replies and compliments folks. I am excited to put the 25 in my pocket and have it look like the others as the time passes--carried and used with all kinds of love marks!

I have almost always exclusively carried a small Insingo for the last couple of years. I have had a couple of other large Seb's, but have always ended up trading them for smalls because I thought they were just too big for EDC. I have had the 25 in my pocket for a couple of days now and for some reason I don't feel the same about this one being too big. I know it is psychological because on paper the larges are equivalent, but for some reason I don't mind it with the 25. Sweet knife gents!

The 25 is a fabulous knife. The more I live with and use it the more I've come to appreciate its greatness, and I like all the CRK folders. The edge I have on mine right now is just stupid sharp. Nice collection you have there.

so, i got my 25 and have been fondling it. it's all the best that CRK makes and has made and more. solid as can be. after playing with it and my Large classic, what i miss is the classic's thumb cutout for the lock bar disengagement. the Clasic is much easier to close and not have my thumb slide off the lock bar, whereas i have a hard time getting enough traction and leverage to move the lockbar out of the way on the 25. LOVE everything about it, but the lockbar coutour being smaller is a slight step backward from the classic perfection. what a knife!! it's so damn SOLID!! wow.
