I have an old 2006 Micarta Classic that started to get worn out and recently the lock started to stick a little bit. You could hear a quiet *click* sound when unlocking it. I figured I might as well send it in for a sharpening and to see if they could do something about the lock.

I just received it about a week after I mailed it. They tuned/sharpened it up and they did the heat treat on the lock bar. I also asked if they could adjust the pocket clip's secondary "hump" to be tighter and they did that as well. Another bonus was I just mailed in the knife in an old box and it was returned in a brand new CRK box along with a free hex tool as well as a lanyard - all for no charge. Thanks guys and keep it up.

Glad to here they have you fixed up. IMO, CRK's service is as good as their QC.

I had an old one from the late 90's that had developed a sticky lock, and looked about as rough as one could. I left it with Anne at Blade, and got it back a few weeks later with a great lock, and it looked like new.

BTW- great looking knife:thumbup:

Glad you posted this:thumbup: This is the service i've received from them also.

Same here. Great service and you've got an excellent knife.

Thanks for sharing!

That is great to hear. I have both a large and small Classic from 2005 and they are going strong with zero issues. Nice to know that if they do have problems there is customer service that is there to help. These days my EDC has been a small Insingo but I do still pull out my Classics from time to time.
