this was the result after my second attempt at forming kydex for my Scrap Yard SOD. i think it came out pretty good, but i wanted to see what some others thought...

i was also thinking about making one for a friend, and i have enough kydex for a couple more...but before i do, i also wanted to make sure i'm not stepping on anyone else's design or signature looks.

i know that there are only so many ways to make a sheath, but i wouldn't want to sell a couple if someone else already makes them like these (at the very least without sighting their efforts to the buyer). given, i didn't use any sheath as a template, it just sort of came together and seems to be a great fit! thanks!

not bad...that edge looks like it could use some sandpaper (I use 80 grit, get it nice and even, then step it down to 150, then 220 for a nice smooth edge), and wait to do all of your final trimming once you have everything in place, otherwise you may end up cutting it too short.

a very nice way of attaching that tek-lok, and a good use of chicago screws to get around using rivets. welcome to the kydex sickness!
