This is my second Becker that I purchased. The third and fourth came earlier than expected. Now, here's my Becker BK-5 Magnum Camp.

In the last photo, they're arranged in their perspective order from first purchase to last. Not that the BK-11 CSM is going to be my last Becker Knife purchase. Ya'll got me hooked!

That's all.

Great collection you're building, BFE. The 5 is always a fine choice. I like that 10 as well. Those scales look great.

I need a set of the Desert scales. Nice color to them.

Nice set for sure, That 5 is a slicey-dicey mosheen!

Thanks! This was the second of the Becker Line of Knives that caught my interest with the first being the BK-9. After looking over numerous reviews of this knife, maybe I think I'll keep as a kitchen knife. Would that be sacrilegious?

BK-5 is a fantastic kitchen knife but it really excels as a knife for slaughtering/butchering.

I really love my BK5. Sometimes I just like to play with the balance and twirl it in my hands. You have a good collection. The 11 and 10 are unique blades. I've been stressing out about which one to get next. 4? 17? 15? Crap. I already have 5 of them. Its getting to the point where when I need a knife for a job I can't decide which one to use:eek:

Good to know.

Thanks, and for the next Becker . . . Hmmm . . . Decisions, decisions, decisions.

I LOVE my 5. It really does work well in the kitchen, however even better, is the camp kitchen. Cause you can break down the food, then use the same knife to break down the wood for the fire, and use the same knife to whittle some while waiting for the food to cook. Then clean it off and do the same thing again.

very nice blades there. is that 10 going to be a user? i know all Beckers are built to be used but damn, that sure is almost too nice to get dirty.

I always thought the 5 looked like a kitchen knife, but it is starting to grow on me and I am thinking about pulling the trigger on one. I will assume it would be great for food prep, and Wolf_1989 says good for butchering, but can anyone comment on how it would be for other outdoor chores, camping, bushcraft, etc? Thanks.

The Becker BK-5 Magnum Camp was the second of Becker's knives that caught my interest. While there are some YouTube Videos of the BK-5 being tested with a couple of BF Passaround videos, the one that interested me the most was the one with Ethan Becker and Jerry Fisk.

This said knife and its purchase, I've no regrets whatsoever. Hope you find that to be true in your case!
