Hey all,

I just finished this one. These sub-hilts are a lot of work... Look great though.


 

Steel: O1 and L6, twist pattern, about 150 layers


Blade length: about 8"


Blade thickness: just over 1/4"


Handle material: stabilized curly koa


Fittings: 416 stainless

Wow, that looks great! You realy nailed the grind on the damascus centering the "eyes" nicely. Overall a very nice package and I'm usally not a subhilt fan. You were able to make the whole thing flow smoothly without looking bulky. Nice job!
