I'm working on my second folding knife project. It's a single blade sleeve board pattern made from some unused Sheffield parts. The scales are spalted beech and the bolsters ebony wood. The blade still needs shaping/sharpening and the scales further finishing. This is it so far. All comments and constructive feedback greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking.

Wow - looks spectacular!!
Love the blade shape, and I'm blown away by that spalted beech with the ebony bolsters!

That looks beautiful S-K, nice work, and thanks for giving us a peek

Wow. That looks great! I like the contrasting material types.

Thanks very much. The closed length is approximately 3.25 inches (8.1cm) and bolster to tip of blade is 2.375 inches (6cm).

Great looking knife s-k! The woods complement each other perfectly!!

Beautiful wood and execution. I am curious why you put the pivot at the large end-- seems counter-ergonomic to me.

I always preferred a swell at the butt of the knife.

Thanks. I tried the blade at both ends. It fit best this way. That should give it a little more stability as well.
