As reported in my previous thread, i lost my 1595ABLK SB. My beloved knife was gone and was heart broken. Well, in no time i ordered a new Shallot. Got it today and I am very pleased. The knife is beautiful and very well made. The tolerances are so tight its unbelievable (i love the ball bearing on the frame lock, these little details are great IMO). I'm already more partial to this knife over my SB. I like the size, the blade profile and most of all the speed safe. Because of its size and weight the blade deploys like lightning. The SB was a tad sluggish due to the size of the blade (even though i made adjustments a stiffer torsion bar would help).

Another fine USA product!, man u guys in OR can make some nice cutlery. Thanks-Mike

It is a great knife. Can't really say anymore then you have already except
I love the ergo's on the Shallot.

Congrats on a great knife!!

You'll enjoy it ls...until...the 14C28N/ZDP composite blade comes out! But I'm still sorry you lost your ALBLK.
