This is my second knife, it was a gift for my brother in-law and he mentioned that he likes smaller knives, so I thought of a design that he might like. I first tempered the file, then cut it and profiled it to even dimensions, then I ground it free handed on a bench grinder, using a homemade sandpaper wheel.
I was lucky enough not to have devastating errors in this project, there have been minor errors overall but I was able to correct them.

The logo is my initial (in Arabic), I thought the blade was too small to have a logo on it, so I decided to put it on the sheath instead, I made it from a flat piece of brass, that I thinned down to about 1.5mm, then I carefully shaped it on my bench grinder, and used saw and files to cut a groove in the top piece.
The pins in the sheath are from a solid brass rod, that I cut to about 15mm long pieces, then polished and superglued them inside the holes I made for them in the sheath. It’s an idea that I though would give the sheath some style.

Since this was a gift, I decided to make a box for it too, It took about 7 hours to make the box alone.
I apologize for the fuzzy images.
