Hi everyone,I'm new into the knife making game,Before I can make a knife I always lurk in the forums and see and learn,Lucky I have a small shop myself on April 22 ,2014,and make knife until that time. This one is my second knife ,I use what I learn from other knife maker's WIP,and try my best to make this one. Here you go:
1.I got a M390 stainless from Peter HT and micarta,You can see the knife is wire cutting

2.Grinding the oxide layer off,

3.then begin the grinding ,I use a Jig when it is in rough grinding,

4.Then hand ground the bevel and add swedge,I use the ceramic belt ,as the M390 is so wear-resisting.

5.I use the 6MM endmill to drill the pin holes,it seems more tight than just did by drill bts.

6 Draw the llines and get it cut by a hand saw

7 rough assemble and ready for take the shape out.

8. grind the handle

9.Then use file and sand paper to make the handle smooth,Sorry I only take little pics .

10. Handles are almost done, I sand it to 2000Grit

11.I use the ferric choride strong solution to etch the stainless balde ,and I put the blade into a bottle which hold some stones and shake it to make the "stone washing"

12.Last I epoxy the handles and put the finally sharp edge
