Here is my second knife, its forged 1084 with ebony scales. Not exactly sure what the style would be called. I am gonna use it maybe in the kitchen but although its really nice and sharp its a little thick for that duty. Probably just under an 1/8" thick. Can just make out the differential HT line toward the back of the blade. Comments/feedback/suggestions are always welcome.

Oh yeah had a little blow out drilling one of the pin holes. Kind of a bummer but its not being sold so I can live with it.

Hey now, well done!

WRT the pin holes, there are a couple three strategies to avoid that:

1) drill at the right speed for the material
2) drill from the outside of the scale to the inside! The top of the hole is usually very clean - as long as your tear-out doesn't reach the edge of the tang, you just fill it with epoxy. However if your drill press isn't quite square this can make the final assembly rather tight...
3) start with material thicker than your intended result so you have extra to grind away

Keep crankin' 'em out! I like this shape quite a bit.
