My SFNO Collection is Complete

Well, I was about to say that, when here pops up another interesting one on he xchange. It'll be here in a few days, but even without it, I think I can say my SFNO collection is fairly complete. Not to say there aren't still 1 or 2 out there I might go for, like a satin saber with old-school black paper, or the same in green linen, or a sweet custom with interesting handles, but those are so few and far between that for all intents and purposes, I consider my SFNO collection complete. This last one sealed the deal for me. I had been hunting it for months, then had to wait weeks for it to ship. Finally it arrived, and finished the group. Here are pics of the two that landed recently to finish the collection. NOW, it's time to decide, out of all the SFNOs, which will be users! :eek: :thumbup:

And, if you're sitting on a satin saber SFNO in old-school black paper micarta, you know who to call ;) :thumbup:.

This one arrived early in the week. It's a very nice satin/snakeskin saber in a basketweave sheath. Notice how the belt loop of the sheath follows the contour of the knife handle:

And for those who say there's no such thing as snakeskin MAGS. This one arrived today and completed my collection:

If your collection was complete then you didnt have to snag another darn satin sabre w/tigerhide, you could have let a poor HOG like me have it!!:grumpy:


And BTW there is NO such a thing as magnum snakeskin. And the knife you score to finish your little SFNO collection is not Magnum snakeskin handles, they are G-rex with a thin piece of snakeskin on top of green/white G-10.

Wow! Thats a really sweet Blade!

The sheath looks great as well, who made that one? EDIT- nevermind, just noticed the maker on back of sheath.

One of .... The nicest satin blades I have ever seen from the shop:)

and that sheath is incredible:eek:

Fantastic, G. Very happy you and Bill finally worked everything out. Seems like now we've got to search for that black paper sabre. Might be a while, but it'll be worth it when it ends up there. I STILL wanna see a pic of Jodi Samson balis next to original Sabre SFNO's. :D

Oh, and that MikeyMoto sheath is stunning. Some of the leatherbenders on here are just untouchable. Dwayne, Mikey, Jeff, Chuck...fantastic stuff. :thumbup:
 
Very nice... satin/snake sabre's are one of my favorites, same goes for the satin and burl wood snfo that I have.:D

George/John, those are 2 nice sfno's as if someone else has to mention it, but if it makes you happy I said it too. How many's that make for you now? I lost count a few threads back!
 
Well, let's see, I don't keep all the ones that pass through my hands, so some of the ones in my gallery have been sold or traded off. Right now I've got about 11, plus some LEs. They're all special in some way, though. I'll be letting a few of those go soon, I imagine. Need to pick my users and go from there.
