I saw on youtube someone shaving down the Izula sheath for better neck carry

so I decided to shave mine down for better pocket carry . I left the two holes on there so I can also attach it to my pants belt loop or camelbak as well

anyone else do this?

Personally I mod all of my sheaths. Whatever works best for you I say. Very cool.
Looks like that Izzy has been around a while.

Looks nice. Shotgunner11 also makes very nice sheaths that would be good for both neck and pocket carry. I got my brown one last week and it goes well with my OD Izula with scales.

Looks good. One of the guys that actually talked me in to getting my first RC/ESEE blade was Steve aka BLUNTTRUTH4U on youtube. In his latest video titled "I'm Back" he shows a good pic of the way he cuts down his Izula sheaths.

Well here....right at the 2 minute mark he shows the sheath.

I really like his videos, its been a little while since he made one though....

It's my video that you saw with the cut-down sheath.

Glad you took the step to do your own. Looks good. I have one that I left the original way in case I want the attachment holes.

Look who it is!

I look forward to more videos from you, I like how you actually test the knives instead of just guessing how they will function. Great job!:thumbup::D

Hi eloreno -

I love bluntruth's reviews - the second part of his Izula review where he shaves a 4x4 in half and then - in one take - shows how it still shaves is one of the best demonstrations of a knive that I have seen.

Thanks, bluntruth - I am a subscriber that is happy you are back.

On the topic of the sheath, I'll see what I think when I get my Izula this week and decide if I want to get a slimmer one. I have never had a neck-knife before.

best regards -
