This is my first FBM, its a user, and I love it...best chopper I have ever owned. I finally finished the sheath over vacation, and think it came out ok. It does the job just fine. I thought about making it a little more fancy, adding a pouch or something...but decided that simple was the way to go. Anyways, I love it, and believe that it well be my go to knife for my outdoor adventures. Gene

Simle...functional...durable. What more can you ask for? And if you had fun making it, then you hit a home run with this sheath.

Regards,

Nick

Congrats on the FBM and great work on the sheath! Is it your first sheath? It came out nice.

Awesome sheath, I really wanna get one for one of my FBM but I'm not sure if I want kydex or leather.

You sheath looks tough as hell tho - and I like that!

Nice sheath- great job and congrats on the FBM!!!

I have the same problem as Grimspoon- can’t decide if I should make a kydex or a leather sheath for my FBMLE…

Thanks everyone, I had to go leather...kydex is a EDC small knife material for me...so it was leather all the way. This isn't my first sheath, I have made about 12, this was the most involved, I usually make bushcraft style pouch sheaths for smaller knives. I have made a sheath for a BK9, but it was a totally different design. Anyways, thanks for the comments, and I am very happy with the setup. Perfect is the word that comes to mind, whenever I handle the FBM. Gene
