ok so here is my latest development on my shiv. last time i was trying to convex the edge. wel i am good at that now and it is a razor and has a nice polish. for my next upgrade, which i did today, i sanded, not striped, off the black coat and then hand polished it up to 2000 grit. so now the knife looks like a aurora alomost me thinks, but but since i did it myself, it is better. now the next part will be to get out a few final scratches out but ill need to get more sandpaper, and at a lower grit cause this alone took me 3 hours. tell me how you like it.
I suppose you can always get the rest of the black off, work it on a buffing wheel or satin it a bit if thats your desire. Maybe try your hand out at adding as few more thumb grooves on the back as I think it would look better with a tad more going up the spine. Let's see...maybe grab a dremel and add a slight blood groove to it, haha idk man.
