My shopis flooded!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have had heavy rains and flooding today. I just got home from work and my workshop is flooded and my shed has blown away. I have about 3 to 4 inches of water thruout my shop. We have never had flooding like this before at our home. I can't do anything with the water since the backyard is completely floooded. This is one sucky day. Got the tools off the floor that I could move. everything is soaked.

Good luck with the weather... Some of my company's boats are currently weatherbound in Norfolk, which is a pain since I need to work on a couple... Hopefully it doesn't get much worse, or last too much longer.

Thanks. I am hoping we are thru the worst of it. I am in chesapeake and work in norfolk. Both cities are a mess.

Brian I am in the Roanoke area and we were getting hit pretty hard too. Looks to have stopped but I just went outside and even though its dark it looks like rain again. I live near the Roanoke River and my normal fishing spot is about 8 feet higher than normal right now. Looks like a mini Mississippi. Also our school system never really closes unless its icy and they closed early today because of floods over taking bridges.

I have about 5 inches of standing water at this point. Lots of wet tools and machines. It's gonna be a long weekend. I have alot of cleanup to do.
