Today i got to handle Chad's new design for about half an hour and man, was i impressed.So much so that i couldn't help my self and not write here how great i think this knife is.I saw all the pictures,read all the great reviews,but seeing it and holding it in my hand...well,it just blew my mind.It is just big enough, so its not too small and just small enough, that its not too big(if that makes any sense
).The size is phenomenal,the ergos,well,it just feels my hands were sculptured around Trance and not the other way around.I don't think i ever holded a knife that felt so comfortable in my hands...it melts in the hand in any grip.It doesn't matter if you are a lefty,those holes makes it ergo friendly for everyone.
The opening,well the possibilities of different opening methods are endless (just like with SF ) and it just invites you to play with it all the time.The flipper is excellent and the shape of the blade is just phenomenal.In my opinion,It really is one of the best designed knifes out there(not that i was too surprised about that.It is Chad's design after all).The quality is excellent,just as all SF's are.Flawless.No blade play,the lock has a firm sound when it locks into place and the looks of the knife is just beautifull. Boker did a great job. Well,short story short (since i had it only for about half an hour),this knife is definitely a knife to have(for EDC,SD.It really doesn't matter,i think it can take on any job one wants it for ) and with SF's,one of the best knifes on the market for this price. It is a true bargain.If they would ask twice as much as it cost now,it would still be worth it.
Well,that half hour went by quickly,i had to return this beauty and the thought I'm left with is, that Chad did an amazing job yet again!He truly is knife design genius!Trance is just amazing.Great job,Chad!!!
