It seems that I am only good at one thing and thats feather sticks.
I made some Immaculate fuzzys today so I thought that I would share

They look small in the pic but the are softball size

All I ever do is feather sticks I dream of them, I walk in the woods and I see a good stick and I stop and make a fuzzy, I make them in my bedroom (my mom HATES it.:D I should be as good as Mors Kochanski (ya right) when I get older.

Yes those are great ! I'm not THAT good with processed wood but getting there. I really struggle to with the local wood that I practice on when outside. I have some local choke cherry that I've dried and that seems to come out well.

Well bud, I used to think that there wasn't much to it. I was wrong. Angle of slice, blade thickness, blade sharpness, type of wood etc. All factors that I am still fine tuning. :) I'll say one thing though. This has sure made me up my game when it comes to sharpening.
 
Good job, I have to practice more with my feather sticks. I'm working on a choil for my 9 at the moment because I want to practice with bigger blades too.

NathanJ, be sure to post up some pics of that finger-choiled 9 when yer done. Been thinking about doing that to my 2 and my 9, 2 first, cause that's the beater.

Will do, still got a bit more work to do on it and then I will do some testing with it.
