So, I just got this baby today and am in love. I had purchased a brand new small Insingo, but never really bonded with it. This is my second try at a Sebenza and it's perfect! It is a 2006 Classic with African Blackwood inlays. Recently refurbed by the fine folks at CRK. Super smooth opening, solid lockup, and very sharp! The ergos and extra thickness with the inlays are just awesome.

Couldn't get the deep brown of the inlays to come up. They are not quite as dark as the pics make it seem.

Also came with a sweet pouch! Thanks again Randy (red1965)!

Your camera is being fooled by all the white in the picture. The camera's automatic exposure system tries to make the 'average' exposure equivalent to something called 18% grey. That's why the white paper is showing up grey. If your camera has some exposure controls, try bumping up the exposure by ~+1.5 and you'll find those deep browns coming out much nicer.

If your camera does not have exposure controls, try a different background (think colors like light brown, light grey) and your camera's meter will do a better job of getting the exposure right.

Thanks Thumper! I'd never looked into the cameras exposure controls, but I was able to bump it up. Took a quick shot and it was much better. :)

Nice. My first sebenza was a small classic African blackwood as well. Used it daily for years until my umnum and large regular showed up. It still sees occasional use when I feel like it or when I'm dressed up. Now go use that seb :)

Just arrived this morning and I've used it for a bunch of cutting chores so far. It excelled at every one.

Sweet little knife you've gotten there. The dark wood gives it a "tuxedo" style that I really like. If you plan to EDC it, say with slacks, you might consider replacing the clip with an insert. For me, a clip-less small Seb is a perfect EDC around the office or the Sunday-go-to-meeting crowd. Congratulations on your new knife!
