My small collection

Good evening all, at the moment this is my small traditional knife collection as of late, a majority of my larger collection was sold during a degree of financial hardship and,well, here I am again, picking and choosing, impulsively buying, scrutinizing each knife for fit and finish.
The bug has officially bit me again

I'd say you're off to a pretty nice start on rebuilding your collection. Very glad things are getting better.
 
That's a great collection. And it sounds like the finances may be a bit better. Looks like you'll have your collection back in no time.

I only have very few nice traditionals (GEC, Northwoods, Boker, etc), and probably 100 cheapies (RR/Colt, Schrade/Taylor, etc). At first I just bought anything and everything that caught my eye...if it was cheap. I was stuck in the "I could have 10 different styles to one nice folder" rut. Now after experiencing the difference, I'm really liking the higher quality. Overseas quality has improved dramatically lately, so I still have a problem with the 10:1 price difference. But have no problem saving a bit and paying 3-4 times more for quality.
