I have had my sebbie for a few years. It is a small with a polished S30V blade. Is there any benefit to upgrading to the new small sebbie's?

I think you'll find most like the regular that you have. Minus some blade shape and handle changes, I don't think there is any benefit or downside to getting a 21. You could always send it in to CRK for a spa treatment and it would come back looking almost new.

I find the small 21 to closer to the original design.
The index finger feels more protected IMHO and I find it easy to open.
One benefit would be to have a "back-up". :)

I like yours more than the 21's. The regulars are sought after, so if you did want to downgrade(lol) you will have no trouble selling it.

I carry one like it with BG42, and it fits my hand better. Index finger goes up a little farther on the handle, and I can get all four fingers on it with ease.

Your Sebenza is just fine; buying a new one would not improve on the one you have, it would just give you another fantastic knife. If you want another Reeve, consider my favorite, the Umnumzaan -- the perfect EDC in my world...

I doubt I would upgrade either. I finally got back to owning Sebenzas, and mine is a small BG-42. If you want more than one, then indulge yourself.

I've had both the small 21 and the small regular. They are both great, but I prefer the small regular, in fact not long after I got it, I sold my small 21. The differences are slight, but the regular just fits my hand and pleases my eye better. The little design tweaks that the 21 incorporates over the regular seem slightly fussy to me, at least aesthetically.
