Put my first pic on the forum last night. My HR. Skunk said I needed to make it smaller. I tried to make this smaller at photobucket, hope it works. Pics are not that good, just learning to post right now.(thanks resinguy for the resize at photobucket tip)
Thanks mercmaster for the help on how to post a pic.

That's really a good picture for a first effort. The sizing is fine.

Were you using a light box? There was a pretty good post somewhere (I'm still looking) about setting up a window studio for knife photos. A well placed sheet of folded 8.5x11 paper can remove a lot of the shadows in your photo (which, again, is a good picture).

I was using window light from a south window, covered the window with thin sheet, I used white reflectors but it did not get the shadows out. I will try some foil instead of paper net time.
I do have some lights but have not made a box yet.

Well, some shadow can be a good offset. to the blade itself. Some folks like to eliminate them altogether though. I think that, in your pic, the shadow is a pretty nice complement.

By the way... nice SMOGs!!!

That's a very nice picture:thumbup: great size too. And a great set.

It looks like you got the posting of the pics down Kenny. Nice pic and an awesome Smog Warden set!! :D
