Good photos.
Seki-Japan? Strange...
On the Internet I met only "Made in USA".

Where you have bought this beautiful knife?

I never really felt the SOG knives but recently the Team Leader and your Vulcan have been rather nice.

I bought it locally in Singapore at my regular place.

They are the distributer for SOG here, so I am guessing they got it direct from USA?

This knife is made in seki, japan, to which i will have .
I like it becuse of its thickness & special lock .
most high quaility of USA brand name products are made in Jp.
Japanese are keen on using high technology & high quality material to make knives.

There are quite a few high quality USA brand name knives made in the USA, too.
I'm sure you know. :)

Benchmade, MicroTech, Emerson; others as well...

Can't say I like it without actually holding it but it seems to be shaping up to be a well-designed folder. From what I see -

- Recessed liners on the scales
- Forward thumb rest
- An ample-sized flipper
- An innovative lock
- A deep/discrete carry clip
- An ergonomic and slightly contoured handle (?)

Looks to be a promising folder!

Can anyone say if the pocket clip on the Vulcon is removeable or not?

This is just a guess, but I think this screw is what keeps the pocket clip attacked to the handle, so if you remove this I am sure the pocket clip cna be taken off easily...Maybe even just turned around for a different carry option...Like for lefties...

I pretty sure that's how the clip is held on. Same as the Flash series.

Yes you are correct, the screw is a 6 star screw.

You can remove it and slide out the clip to change it around.
