Hey Yall,
So for a while I really wanted a ZT 0560 but everytime I went to use my 0550 or even carry it I questioned why I needed anything larger or different. I had previously seen some of Randys acid etch/stonewash work and was considering having it done. Then I saw the ZT 0560 he "steampunked." I decided thats exactly what my 550 needed.
He bronze anodized the liner, hardware, and the lock side (which was then stonewashed). The blade was acid etched then stonewashed. He also carbidized the lock face.
The scale is from Don at Gator Scales (awesome customer service and work)!
I dont have the knife in hand yet but here are the pictures Randy sent me this afternoon. Im already very impressed, it should be here Wednesday or so.
