I received this Camillus Yello-Jaket 707 from a friend as a separation gift from the active duty USAF back in 1997. I used it on a regular basis, but it was rather thick to have it disappear in my pocket as a daily carry. Over the past few months, I bought a Buck 55 and a Buck 501 to use as my "gentleman's knife" for pocket carry, due to their respective thinness. I've always thought the Yello-Jaket to be a rather nice knife, with a really good lockback design and very sharp blade(s) from the factory. It has what appears to be nickel silver bolsters and brass liners that give it a solid lock-up. The main blade has really good centering, while the saw tooth blade is just slightly off center. My 55 has nice centering, while the 501 is off center to the left (although it doesn't rub against the liner).

I like your Yellow Jacket, 2 lock blade Camillus. I wish Buck would have contracted some of those. DM
Thanks, it is a pretty slick design - although, I've rarely had the need to use the serrated blade.
The yellow scales certainly identify it as an old Camillus design, but it sure would look nice as a Buck design with some nice wood scales.

Gotta love the little 55.
Also the 425, 524, and all the other smallee lockbacks they make that share blades and frames with each other.
I don't need to own every one of them since I buy knives to use not collect, but there are others I definitely want.

I'm not sure if I want a 501 yet, but it'll likely happen eventually.
