Hallo all,

Guys (and girls) I need to tell you... I have just become a father :) What a feeling!! I spent 2 hours before the delivery with my wife and then - before I managed to ask the doctors whether they want to use my Talonite knife to cut the umbilical cord – the whole thing was over. In about 25 minutes a new human being* (possibly another “knife knut”) entered the World... I am still shaking a bit (it does not happen every day) but it was worth it... Both my loved ones are OK and I am looking forward to seeing them in about 2 hours. BTW I had the Talonite knife ready (you never know ;)).
I apologize in advance for not replying to this post because I am taking two weeks of vacation to be with my wife….

Thanks for listening and have a great weekend (I am sure I will)….

David

Congratulations. My son is almost 8 months, and my daughter is 4 1/2. It's a lot of fun

Congratulations!!!!!! being a Dad is the greatest feeling in the world!!!! with all the crap going on in this world, you can still look completely thru it as if it is NOT there and see this BEAUTIFUL HUMAN just waiting for your love, your touch, and the bond that forms and lasts until the day you die. It is beyond simple words. My sons are thiefs and they both love to steal my knives, and ya know something? I LOVE IT!!!!! God Bless ya, the wife and your NEW SON!!!!

Congrats David! It IS a wonderful thing. I'm at 7 months with a beautiful daughter and it keeps getting better every day. I get the biggest kick out of being a Dad. Absorb and enjoy all the moments, it will fill your heart.

Have fun,
Tom

Congrats! David...

Good to hear everyone's alright...When do we get to see a picture of the young one?

The fun has just begun! Here is a tip on parenting. When you start using formula get a thermos. Boil enough water to make a bottle and put the rest in the thermos. This saves you from having to boil water for every bottle while the young one is screaming. When you leave the house take the can of formula and thermos of water with you. You can then make bottles as needed and the formula is always fresh.

Congratulations on your new family addition,
Dean (father of two)

Awesome isn't it. I can't believe it's been 15 months since I felt the same way, now I just have a 15 month old monster running around the house:D man do I love him! Congratulations!!!

Thank you all. It has been a great time so far :).... I cannot wait till my wife gets home from the hospital (2 more days)...
