My son, who is in the navy and stationed out of Norfolk, flew home this week for a visit. He had seen pictures of Ray Laconico's new flipper design and really wanted one. Ray was very gracious to move him to the front of the line so he could take it back with him when he flew back to Norfolk this morning. This knife flips really well, and has the normal Laconico quality. And Ray even extended special pricing to him because he is my son. Ray is tops in my book. Here are some pics:

Ray is a superb, world class knife maker. And obviously a great guy too. I'm a Navy vet myself. CTT.

Good luck and thanks for his service.

Thanks for posting that John. Thanks guys for the comments. I'm just glad I was able to get it done in time so Pat could take it with him.

This particular one does not have bearings but I do make them with bearings as an option. In my opinion it flips well enough without bearings but you can't go wrong with bearings.

Spyken, I will never put IKBS in my knives (I have my reasons).

What a sweet folder  I'm going to need a Laconico folder as well as a fixed down the line, and I'm really liking this flipper.
