I used to love those! Front wheel drive as I recall right?

I remember a guy in the service that had one and some days in our neighborhood on snow days going to the base we all hopped in his ride because it would barrel through and get us there where all the others got stuck.

Quite comfortable too.
Nice find!

My first car was a 1974 Capri. It had a 6 cylinder, I thought it was cool. Most of my friends called it the butter mobile, until they wanted a ride of course. If that is his first ride, he will score great with the classy ladies!

Yep this is his first car--saved his money and payed cash--and yes it is working out great with the ladies--he is 23--primed--pimped and ready to go--LOL

looks great with the wide whites

What i couldn't believe is this sold for 19,171--we even have the window sticker with the price it sold for--man alot of money in that day--:D

Very nice sled! I hope he takes good care of it.

We bought the 19 year old step-daughter a 1984 Pontiac Bonneville in MINT (and I mean Mint! The interior looked like it just came off the showroom floor) condition with 46,xxx miles on it, and within 6 months there wasn't a straight panel left on the car. And this was her second car. She totaled the first one, a '96 Sebring with 17,xxx miles.

I really hope he takes good care of this car.

Sweet ride!

My dad probably had a hand in building that one. If the 11th digit of the VIN is a "U", it came from the Hamtramic plant in Detroit.

Tell your son congrats and good on him for going with some classic "Detroit Iron" instead of the Honda Civics with the Fart-can mufflers that the younger guys tend to go with these days..

Beautiful car.

My first car was a 1993 Cadillac STS, and not a day goes by when I miss that thing. Handled like a boat but those things could MOVE. :D

I'm currently working on a trade for a '72 Fleetwood to restore.

That ride looks straight gangsta

WOW. that is a sweet ride. I so wanted one of these, but as a young parent ended up with a Toyota Celica GT. That was pricey too back then @ 6000.00 New:D

Nice car, reminds me of a funny line from a Dave Barry book

"All the maneuverability of an aircraft carrier, without the fuel efficiency"

:D

Love it, from the paint to the wheels to the wide white walls. The laid back look is really bad ass!

They just don't make em' like that anymore
