My Spyderco Domino defects? And looking for a cool scale!

This is my spyderco domino that I got yesterday. I noticed that there are pits in the side of the titanium scale and the beveled grind on the blade where it locks up looks like it's messed up and it already has over 60% lock up? Is this something I should contact spyderco about? And I'm looking for a cool handle scale (about the same thickness as the stock one) that is carbon fiber or kevlar for this other wise awsome knife!

I would be concerned with the surface of the blade tang where the lock bar makes contact. Can't tell if it's a gouge or a pit, but the Domino is to nice of a knife to have potential lock problems. So if it were mine, I would send it back.

Ask the dealer for an exchange.

I contacted the place I got it from. Waiting for a response. ...... But I'm still looking for a cool carbon fiber or kevlar scale!

Agreed. That would be the first place I would start. Depending on how that person is, they may tell you that you did that and for you to go fly a kite. Hopefully they are nice and take care of you on it. Good luck!

Best thing to do is to return it to the dealer for an exchange.

There was another Domino like that not too long ago purchased by someone in Europe. That case is within this thread: An open post to Sal.
