Greetings!

Let me just say I love this site.. and i spend WAY too much time reading seriously..

Well I work as a Landscaper/Arborist.. so having a knife is part of the job.. i use my blades pretty heavily during the day.. but my needs and my understanding as a 25year old knife user have started to change over time. first let me list all the models i own so you all know what knives i've handled/used/or just looked and played with... Ats-55 Endura SE, Delica PE, Military s30v CE BlackCoat, Para Military PE, Dodo PE, Lil' Temp PE 440v, Calypso Jr zdp on the way!!! along with a LEatherman wave/Charge/Juice kf4 and a swiss army solider

okay now that i posted that i feel like a total nut ;) hope my wife doesn't make a connection with number of knives + money spent ;)

okay enough rambling... soooo at first i used my Endura.. beat the hell outta her.. used her to cut everything you can imagine.. even lent it to a friend who was installing carpet to be the main cutting blade.. three years later the teeth are all beat to hell. but the 204 keeps her sharp.. after going thru all these knives over three years...... i've found that you ALWAYS need a small sak.. always.. to cut food, let the wife use ;) open beer, punch holes in things... you always need a good small little 3inch EDC blade.. for a year it's been the para.. soon to be replaced with the caly zdp... you don't need g-10.. it's nice.. i dig it.. but the FRN is great.. i have yet to mess it up.. it's cheaper.. and really light this knife does all the inbetween chores.. and any 'emergency cutting' as it's the one you always, always have with you..... and finally.. if you work a labor/landscape/outdoors job.. you need a BIG folder,a hardcore work knife one you don't mind abusing... I used the Millie for awhile.. but I feel bad watching that black coat take hell.. I always find myself coming back to the Endura SE... I just don't feel bad using her ;) plus branches can snag knives.. and losing a military would be heart breaking ;) the work knife never gets carried off work as it's just too much knife to have around the home imho ;) or you take it when your out hiking... anyway thats just my 02' coffee inspired thoughts on the knife world

thank you ALL so much for all the reviews.. and esp all the help and tips on learning how to sharpen ;) now i never fret

Cheers!
Miles
