My spydie bit me!

I was closing my Delica II today and didn't realize I had part of my hand in the blade's path as it was closing until it was too late. The blade didn't close on my hand too hard at all, but it made a small cut without me even "sliding" my hand along the blade. Even though I got cut (totally my fault), I love how sharp the factory edge is! Good work guys!:D
 
My worse cut was with my spydie Goddard. It was my first clipit and i was fooling around wiht it, trying to clsoe it.


I disengaged the lock and the serrations chomped on my index finger. I bled for a good 15 minutes before calling for help.

I had kept my finger in my mouth as well as putting it under water before I had to get help.

I can still feel the cut if I push on the spot a little. It has been about 7 months.

I think it cut to the bone.
That was and is a real sharp knife
 
ONce, I was cutting a stick with my native, after it cuts through, the tip caught the leg of my pants and put a 4 inch cut on my jeans.
 
May it be your first of many! Myself, the worst I've done with a Spyder was with a Dyad Jr where I basically sliced off the tip of my knuckle. The other bad bite I has was with a BM AFCK Mini where I stabbed myself in the webbing between my first and middle fingers. You talk about pain!!! :@

I was admiring my recently acquired green Lum Chinese, last week I think it was, and my finger just glided, VERY LIGHTLY, over the edge. Before I knew it, I was bleeding all over the place!! I didn't even feel it when this Spydie took a bite of my finger.

Now THAT is what I call SCARY SHARP. :eek: :eek:
 
:( slipped with the Delica and penetrated about 1/2" into the web between thumb and forefinger, didn't even feel it ! removed the blade over the sink but there must be any veins there, almost no blood. it was a surgically clean cut...scary sharp at the point.

also almost cut off tip of thumb and forefinger while para-wrapping the handle of CS Kobun.

worst scare is from slipping on a ladder:D
