My Spydie saved my wedding day!

Maybe that is a little dramatic, but it is somewhat true. I got married about a month ago. My wife thought it was ridiculous that I carried a knife in my suit the day of or wedding, and I almost didn't. At the last minute I grabbed my Yojimbo 2 just in case.

My father-in-law is an LEO, so upon saying our "I do's" we were to be handcuffed together. Right before we went out, I put the handcuff key in my suit pocket. Little did I know it was a fake pocket, and somehow the key slipped inside my suit. I could not for the life of me get it out. Luckily, I remembered just in time that I had my Yo 2 on me, and I made a small incision on the inside of my suit and was able to remove the key right before I had to walk out. My Spydie saved the day, and I didn't wind up handcuffed the rest of the night (at least not until we got back the hotel;)).

I was able to finally say to my wife "that is why I always carry a knife"! And for saving the day, I bought another Yo 2 to keep the wedding hero company.

Great story, thanks for sharing. My Sage 1 in my suit knife. Easy to carry and happens to match pretty well.

Very nice! I've been looking for an excuse to get a slim, compact knife to carry around... I saw a SOG Access 2.0 recently, and that would certainly fit well in a suit pocket.

Glad to hear everything went well, and congratulations!

Nice one! Any chance to make your case for carrying your knife is good. I have a Caly3.5 CF/ZDP that I have planned as my suit knife now.

Good story. But you know, "about a month ago" doesn't cut it. Keep track of the days and don't forget your anniversary! Pop quiz anytime lol
