The Syderco knife is very addicting, just 6mths ago I purchased my first one.
Today I have a Native,Endura,Caly lll a Mini Manix,Military,Para Military,Tenacious,Rookie also a few of the byrd line and a Lum on order.
I believe a Police in G10 must also be added.If I keep this up, i'll need a second job to support my habit :D
 
The Starmate has more in common with the Military than the Stretch.

It's also my favorite discontinued Spydie. This thread needs more pics!
 
Great photography of a great knife, Jill. That Starmate is definitely one of my favorite Spydies.
 
You take some good pictures Jill. You happened to find another Spyderco I don't have. Considering I have somewhere around 90 that's not as easy as it would seem. You do have some nice ones in your collection. Joe
 
I miss the 3 Starmates I use to own, but they never saw any carry time. I hope whoever ended up with them, use them.
 
Great Pic. The texture in the wood is a fantastic contrast to the knife. Excellent.

I like the looks of the Persian. Pity is just doesn't fit my hand.

Yes it's corn, got to take my dogs a hike. So maybe later. The sun was just perfect for the Starmate pic-was a little too overhead for the Persian.
