I took some pictures of what has become my standard EDC rotation for a period of 5 days to 6 months now. As some here may know, I have owned and sold dozens of highly regarded Spydercos over the past few years and some of those were classified as Holy Grails. Almost every knife I've owned has been a very nice knife, worthy of most enthusiasts. But I believe we all gravitate toward a short list of knives when we have several to choose from. This list can be steady but can also morph over longer periods. Regardless, these four knives have found themselves into a special list for me, my EDC rotation. Certain things about these knive are responsible for the pocket time they get but it's not rocket science. It's just form, fit and function that bring me to one of these four knives every day.
I've had the Perrin PPT for just a few days and have carried it each day since I got it.
The Manix 2 XHP has been carried 2-3 days a week for the past couple months now.
The Gayle Bradley has seen 2-3 days a week for the past 4 months or so.
The Sage 2 has been carried dozens and dozens and dozens of times over the past 6+ months.
I keep these knives under a folded white towel on my nightstand and pick the carry knife each morning by how I feel. Honestly though, I still struggle with which one to grab each day.
