i was out inthe desert the other day and decided to pound my steel heart it to the side of a desert cliff.

after getting about two inches of the tip in, i shot it with a photron torpedo with the blade taking a lateral hit.

i probably should have pounded it in a little further.

i was acually surprized when i noticed the blade has fractured in several places.

i really didn't think i was abusing the knife as i have seen you guys pound your through coins, cars, cinder blocks and cbl cans.

i might try to re-profile this in to a tanto or a paper clip.

first pic, (sorry its not clear as the radiation must have effected the film) shows the crater formed from the blast and the location of some of the pieces.

second pic shows how the blast must have bent the blade way past 240 degrees! i can't believe this steel heart stood up to this!! just shows that the infi went way beyond all expectations.

All of these incredible stresses could have happened in a normal day of Sasquatch hunting or cleaning the Lizard Man so no problem with the warranty. Just return the pieces in a radiation proof container and we will reasemble it to it's pristine former self.  :D

well i was only about four miles away...

i might have been to close as it appears the micarta is totally vaporized.

Skunk, I'll give you $100 for what is left, I'm always looking for unusual Steel Hearts! I'll bet if you do the same with a Battle Mistress, Colbalt will buy it!
Seriously, I think maybe you should try shooting it from 10mi away next time, sheesh, anyone could hit a Steel Heart from 4mi with a Photron torpedo!!!

Hmm, has Cliff Stamp been informed of this? I'm sure he'd be glad to contribute some comments and share some of his test results .... ;)

So yer off goofin off in the desert instead of puttin more Game Wardens up? ;)

Next time, try a phaser set at level 8. Photon torps are too powerful.

And when is Jerry gonna build a complete INFI tank for the military? THAT could withstand a photon torpedo!

What if you had kicked it right before you shot it with that "photron torpedo"? Maybe then the blade wouldn't have broke? What with the extra Rockwell Hardness that would have been imparted to the blade with your foot? :D

I want a knife made out of the vegetation in the first picture that survived the blast.

Skunk are you sure it's the one you put there for this test? It may have been an older D2 model Jerry planted many moons ago:D

i'm sure! and please don't get me wrong...

i didn't ask for warranty replacement or do this intentionally. i was just watching you guys beat the snot out of your busse's and happened to have this photron on my yukon II and well you know, a few beers.. a few scotches... and well..

crap, i sure hope the sierra club and peta doesn't catch wind of this
