I'm thinking double strike coin kinda thing with this knife?
Idk I'm thinking this one may be pretty unique since it's double etched.
I think "steril" must be code for "second" or "it's messed up". "Sterile", on the other hand has always meant (to me), when applied to a blade, as "being devoid of any marks what-so-ever".
Either way, your knife is defective and needs to be sent, postage pre-paid, to the nearest Defective Becker Test Facility, which is conveniently located in my back 40.PM me for shipping instructions.

And just think...
If you're were cross-eyed you wouldn't even know it's double etched.![]()
I think it's a BK-48.
I think it's a BK-48.
Sound logic.
Nick you have the first, and maybe only,....BK48!
Mine was received w/o markings, IOW, sterile.
Your's however is a double-stamp and, IMHO, more collectible.

Likely made out of D4 steel.
Yeah I think sterile is being misused here but as others have said use it! Hardly a safe queen.
Nope it's not out of focus. It's a double offset etching.
What should I do? Keep it? Use it? Send it back? Will it/ does it have collector value?
Bladite, Guyon, Boss? What do yous guys think?
😀👍...I'd use it to piss off people who think they have good eyesight.
