...arrived 2 days ago. It's a beauty:

The file work is pretty amazing. However, the real good surprise is that the blade is in fact san-mai, i.e., the mosaic damascus sandwiches a high carbon monosteel blade. That makes the blade much stronger. I was really happy to see that.

I'm going to see if Mr. Shwarzer would be available to do a check up on it (it does have a coupl spots of rust...)
