Just a very strange thing,
I grew up with Herder Sodbusters and SAK's but one way or another I don't seem able to get that little yella knife out of my pocket.
It just seems to grow on me more and more every day.
This time I got a near flawless one without any play.
Just to test a bit to see if it would develop play after use, I whittled a stick with it and cut up some card board.
When it would get play I would retire another Case knife and carry my Alox Bantam again, but not only the little bugger was still rock solid, it even didn't lose any of it's sharpness.

Just a few hours ago I put my Peanut on the table and my Pioneer back in my pocket.
And I swear the little banana looked at me and asked: "Whadda you doin'now?"
So Pioneer back in the drawer and the 'Nut back in my pocket.

I even followed Carl's advice and put a rolled up hanky on top of it and darn, the knife doesn't go anywhere.

I still carry my Bantam because the combo tool is just too damn handy plus a blade for any real dirty jobs might they occur.

But the main cutting is for the little "Yellow Fellow"

Just wanted to share.

I know what you mean the Peanut sure is a hard pattern to put down they just ride so well in the pocket.

I'd love to try the hanky over the peanut trick, but that's how I keep my chapstick in my pocket!

I have my first peanut on the way, really looking forward to going 'minimalist'.

Fun post. Thanks for that.

My Peanut has'nt left my pocket since I got it a couple months ago.I even use the bandana trick.-Jim
