My Stiff Horn....

After wondering what to do with all the saw blade edges I've accumulated in the past few years, it dawned on me the other day, that I could maybe get a Loveless "Stiff Horn" out of the scraps.
I gave it a go, and heres the end result.
Hollow ground 3" blade, 6 3/4" overall, brass fittings, and green canvas micarta on red fibre liners. Sheath is 9 oz shoulder, hand stitched, dyed and finished with resoline.
All comments good or bad gratefully accepted:D
Thanks for looking,

Ian

That's a great looking little knife. I think you captured the pattern really well.

I like it:thumbup:

Very nice knife all the way down to the tapered tang and great sheath work..

Very nice! Looks very clean and the sheath looks excellent as well. My preference would be SS over the brass bolster.

Really very nice, both the knife and the sheath. In fact, the sheath is EXTRA nice.

Whoah!
Dude, you are doing something right in earning that praise!

I like what you do with "scraps". ;) Knife and sheath both turned out real nice.

Many thanks for all your kind comments. I'm amazed at how popular this little blade has proved to be.
Even more amazed at the comments regarding the sheath:eek:
I wasn't quite sure what to make, and it took a few sheets of A4 to get it sorted out. Looks like it payed off!
Thanks for taking the time to look and pass comment, I can assure you all that its very much appreciated.:D

The tapered tang is a nice touch and reminds me of my favorite maker and his many apprentices who make similar knives. Definitely a knife to be proud of.

Very sleek, nicely done sir! one of my favourite patterns there!
and yes, that sheath is also well done!
